Security Jobs Update: 13 Palm Beach Openings
Looking for security work in Palm Beach County? This week's scan turned up 13 openings worth a look — from store protection in West Palm Beach to armed posts in Jupiter. Every role below comes from a real listing in my job tracker. I did not invent any posting or pay rate; where a posting does not list pay, I say so.
New this week: store protection and site posts
Ross Stores has five Palm Beach County listings in this batch. The Store Protection Specialist role is in West Palm Beach, and Area Supervisor roles are posted in Lake Worth, Greenacres, Palm Beach Gardens, and Palm Springs. None of the five Ross postings lists pay.
At The Club at Quail Ridge in Boynton Beach, a full-time Security Officer post runs 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and requires both a Class G and a Class D license. Pay is not listed.
The Mental Health Association of Rochester is hiring an armed Security Officer for healthcare work in Jupiter. The posting requires a Class G license but does not state the shift or pay — confirm both before you apply.
Armed posts paying $25 an hour or more
Cambridge Security Services is hiring an experienced Armed Security Officer in Jupiter at $27.58 an hour, part-time flexible schedule. Class D and G licenses required.
Keelson Strategic's Fixed Site Security Agent post in Stuart pays $45 an hour, about $93,726 a year at minimum.
Magen Protective Services is hiring an Armed Security Officer for overnight work in Palm Beach Gardens, from $25 an hour.
St. Moritz Security Services lists an Armed Flex Security role in Palm Beach Gardens at $25 an hour, part-time.
A & Associates lists a Security Account Manager in West Palm Beach from $25 an hour, weekly pay, on Indeed.
A supervisor step up
Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Safety & Security Operations Supervisor in West Palm Beach at $24.40 an hour.
Before you apply
Three checks before you send any application. First, confirm the license required — several armed posts above need Class G, not just Class D. Second, confirm the shift and full- or part-time status, since some postings leave that out. Third, never pay a fee to apply, and get the pay rate confirmed in writing. I leave out posts requiring your own duty weapon and unverified remote listings. New to the field? See my guide to starting in security in Florida with no experience.
The takeaway
The strongest pay here sits with armed posts requiring Class D and G licenses. If you are unlicensed or newly licensed, the store protection roles are the easiest way in.
